About the Company

Beslag & Metall is a family-owned company located in Ekenässjön with over 85 years of experience in stamping, welding, and assembly, where we continuously expand and renew our machinery with automatic presses and robotic cells. We manufacture and deliver components primarily to the automotive industry, and our largest customers are Volvo Trucks and Scania. We have 230 employees and generate approximately 950 million in revenue.

As one of our production leaders is moving on to another position within the company, we now need to strengthen the organization with a production leader.

Your Responsibilities

You will, together with another production leader, develop and lead the work in the SAMP department. The production consists of manufacturing in advanced automation cells. You will report to the department manager. The team consists of about 30-40 people.

Your responsibilities will include:

Working towards a good and safe working environment
Planning daily production activities and leading and distributing work within the team
Motivating and engaging employees and leading the group towards continued development and improvement

As a production leader with us, you will collaborate with other key internal functions such as technology and maintenance, purchasing, planning, logistics, projects, quality, as well as safety representatives and local union clubs. You will bring new ideas and improvement suggestions and are a team player skilled at building relationships.

Your Background/Skills

You may currently work as a team or shift leader and want to take the next step in your career. You might already be working as a production leader or supervisor and are ready to take the step towards an employer who can offer you new challenges?

We want you to have the ability to lead and inspire others, possess a service-oriented attitude, and have good communication skills. You are driven by achieving results together. Wanting, daring, and improving come naturally to you, and you are good at adapting to the situation you face. Knowledge of Monitor ERP and experience with automotive customers is a plus.
